PRODUCTS

What is a Giclee? – A “Giclee” print is a high quality, fade resistant, archival-grade reproduction of an original artwork. Giclee’s can be printed on various media such as canvas and paper.

What is a Matted Print on paper? – A matted print on paper is a open edition reproduction of an original painting on 100% recycled sugar cane paper and printed with high quality inks. These prints are then mounted on a firm backing and held in place by a mat board and include Jennifer Hitchner’s signature on the mat.

What is a “Limited Edition” print? – A “Limited Edition” print, also known as an “LE,” is a reproduction that is restricted in the number of copies produced. These editions are regulated under state consumer protection laws in order to ensure each print in its edition is accounted for.

What is an “Artist Proof” print? – An “Artist Proof” print, also known as an “AP,” is a giclee print that has been hand highlighted. Where as a Giclee, is a reproduction of an original artwork with no true brush strokes, an Artist Proof canvas adds texture and dimension to a one dimensional art piece.

What is the sizing on your t-shirts? – These shirts are made using traditional t-shirt sizing and are made to fit almost all body types. If you’re not sure what size to get or if you’re in-between sizes, we suggest ordering the next size up.

PAYMENT & SHIPPING

How long does it take to ship a product? – Products purchased through FineArtAmerica adhere to the following schedule:

Greeting cards ship with 1 – 2 business days after you place your order.

Prints ship within 3 – 4 business days after you place your order.

Please note – even if you select “overnight” as your shipping method, we still need the time (above) to actually print, assemble, and package your order. Everything at Fine Art America is printed and manufactured “on demand”. We don’t have any pre-made products sitting on our shelves.

Where is my product? – As soon as your order ships, we’ll send you an e-mail confirmation with a tracking number included in the e-mail. We send the e-mail to the e-mail address that you provided when you placed your order.

What payment methods do you accept? – Major credit cards: Visa, MasterCard and American Express.

ORDER STATUS and RETURNS/EXCHANGES

Do I receive an order confirmation email?– Emails confirming your order are sent our immediately after you complete your purchase! Please check the spam folder to locate the email and make sure we are not marked as spam so that you may receive future confirmations from us too.

How do I return or exchange an item? – All returns can be processed via FineArtAmerica

 

What is your Return Policy?– HitchnerArt is committed to top-notch customer satisfaction and our return policy is very simple:

If you’re not happy with a purchase that you made on FineArtAmerica.com, for any reason, you can return it to us within 30 days of the order date. As soon as it arrives, we’ll issue a full refund for the entire purchase price. Please note – Fine Art America does not reimburse the outgoing or return shipping charges unless the return is due to a defect in quality.

 

QUESTIONS FOR THE ARTIST

Can Jennifer sign my merchandise? – All Giclee’s and original art pieces are signed in advance. We are constantly on the road,  doing signings and meet and greets, so we do not sign other individual products or merchandise before they ship. But if you visit SHOWS AND EVENTS page , you can see when Jennifer will be in a town near you and we will be happy to sign your purchased products there!

 

Can I license Jennifer Hitchner Artwork?– We love to consider new possibilities for our artwork! If you have a licensing idea for Jennifer Hitchner’s artwork, please contact us at [email protected]. Licensing allows us to make sure there is a suitable match between Jennifer’s style and the intended licensor and use. It’s usually an agreement between Jennifer Hitchner and the licensor of the artwork granting permission to use a specified image for a particular project.

 

Can I link to your Jennifer Hitchner Art page or blog? – Please submit your website for review – we would like to make sure our site is the right fit for yours!

 

Can I use Jennifer Hitchner’s artwork in my project?– Sorry, due to copyright, licensing and intellectual property restrictions, Jennifer Hitchner’s images cannot be used for personal or commercial use without first acquiring a licensing agreement from Jennifer Hitchner or HitchnerArt.

 

Can Jennifer Hitchner come to my location?– Jennifer always has new shows and events, and we welcome the opportunity to discuss  hosting an event at your location.  Please contact us with your ideas.

 

 Jennifer Hitchner Donations?  HitchnerArt donates art prints to 501(c)3 charitable fundraising events with the local community as well as for oceanic philanthropic events. If you elect to have your donation shipped, we will contact you by telephone to collect the shipping charges before processing your request.  Please complete the Donation Request Form for consideration.  Please allow at least 4-6 weeks for decision.
